I’ve known Jon for over 10 years, so when he asked us to shoot their wedding at the wonderful Swinton Park near Masham, we were chuffed to bits. What an awesome day it was, as well as being an unbelievable place to get married and a genuine castle no less, we got to share the whole day celebrating with two good friends.
The über organised Jon planned everything in five months and there were loads of cool details – stunning flower displays, opera singers during the wedding breakfast, a musical quartet, a swing band and a hog roast. They had even provided Ralph Lauren aftershave for guests to freshen up with throughout the day. There were some amazing outfits from the both the ladies and the gents, with Jon and Charles finishing off their rather dapper morning suits with Hugo Boss and Gucci shoes. We would have expected nothing less and Jon made sure his late Dad shared in the day with them by wearing his cufflinks and wrist watch and the toasts were made with his vintage port which went down rather well
We certainly think that this wedding would be called an event and emotion was to be found everywhere with laughing and crying in equal measures – certainly a sign of a great wedding, and Charles’……WOW……some amazing moves on that dance floor, awesome
